At Westside, we develop more than just strategic real estate opportunities. We enhance neighborhoods, we forge meaningful relationships and create a foundation for long-lasting value. It doesn’t just make a difference to the bottom line. It makes a difference in people’s lives.

About

Westside Development Companies was formed in 2015 by James Anderson and George T. Webb to acquire and develop multi-family and commercial real estate in the Washington, DC area.

Both seasoned developers, James and George have developed a total of more than $250 Million worth of real estate. Since forming Westside, they have acquired several single- and multi-family residential buildings and development sites. The largest of these is 816, 820 Potomac Avenue, SE, which will yield 72 residential condominiums in the burgeoning Capitol Riverfront area of Capitol Hill.

Philosophy

Westside’s core philosophy is formed by two equally important concepts: real estate is both a financial and relationship endeavor.

We seek development opportunities that can make a difference in people’s lives, in buildings, in neighborhoods and in communities. Westside’s goal is to prosper through fostering mutually beneficial relationships with owners, brokers, investors, partners, contractors and their tenants.

We understand and accept the notion that we are transforming neighborhoods and communities. That is why it is so important that we get it right the first time and it drives us to relentlessly pay attention to the details.
